Q: How long has Devoted Wife Designs been open?
My Designs started in December 2006, My Store was opened in July 2007.
Q: What is the one thing about Devoted Wife Designs (The store and/or your designs) you're most proud of? I would have to say my Designs. I try to be original and Different with every design I do.
Q: How do you find inspiration for your designs? Who/What inspires you when you create?
Being an Army Wife was really my Inspiration. I love showing my support along with Pride.
Q: When is your favorite time to create or are you a 'spur of the moment' sort of girl? Perhaps a combination of both? I am a Spur of the Moment Girl. Sometimes I see a Color and it gives me ideas...
Q: Is there a design you'd like to see more sales of? Why?
This one:

It is simple, yet shows just how much you love your Soldier.
Q: Are there any upcoming plans for Devoted Wife Designs that you'd like to tell us about? I am going to Branch out to Not only Military Designs, but do every day designs. I want to touch everyone's lives.
With that, I'll leave you with my (Lauren's) personal favorite of Adriana's designs. I really want to order one of these. Now I just have to convince my husband why I should have it!
This is my (Lauren's) pick:

The freebie for today is a scan of a postal telegraph I found while scanning a bunch of photos and documents that I inherited from relatives, my grandfather, in particular. I'm really hoping to get back into Geneaology again. John Jones, the name on this telegraph, was my grandfather. I've got tons of old photos. A lot of these are photos of unknown relatives (or friends of said relatives). If anyone would like to 'adopt' them for altered art projects, digi scrap, or anything else, leave us a comment. If there is enough interest, I'll scan them all to share.

HERE is the download link. Since this one is near and dear to my heart, I'd be even more interested in seeing anything created with it. If you use it, would you consider sharing with me what you've done with it? It would be greatly appreciated! (And would make my day!)
Have a great day everyone! (It's rainy and yucky here. The perfect weather for reading a book in bed. I'm currently trying to persuade myself to do just that!)
Until next time,
Lauren

Thanks so much! I'd be happy to adopt your unknowns. I won't have access to my family photos until I make it back to the States since I want to hand carry the photos, so this would be perfect for me lol.
Thank you! The DigiFree freebie search engine is about to list this blog post at digifree.blogspot.com
I would love to adopt those old pics! I have done altered art but now mostly digi everything, and I am especially fond of vintage items. Thanks for all your hard work!
